Instrument Rating (IFR) — 12-Day Intensive

Prerequisites & Attendance Requirements

  • Written Exam: Official FAA Instrument Knowledge Test passed prior to Day 1.

  • Pilot Certificate: Current FAA Private Pilot Certificate.

  • Cross-Country Time: Minimum 50 hours of PIC cross-country logged (or tracking to complete within course cross-country profiles).

  • Medical: Valid FAA Medical Certificate or BasicMed.

Commercial Pilot "Finish-Up" — 8-Day Intensive 

Designed for the pilot who meets the total-time threshold and is ready to transition from a private mindset to professional mastery. Complete your mandatory Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) hours, polish precision commercial maneuvers, and prepare for practical exam success in our factory-built Van’s RV-12iS.

Course Breakdown

  • Duration: 12 Days (Concierge / Accelerated) 

  • Flight Training: 35 Hours 

  • Ground Instruction: 30 Hours 

Prerequisites & Attendance Requirements
 

  • Written Exam: Official FAA Instrument Knowledge Test passed prior to Day 1.

  • Pilot Certificate: Current FAA Private Pilot Certificate.Cross-Country Time: Minimum 50 hours of PIC cross-country logged (or tracking to complete within course cross-country profiles).

  • Medical: Valid FAA Medical Certificate or BasicMed.

Certified Flight Instructor (CFI Initial) — 10-Day Intensive

Transition seamlessly from the left seat to the right seat. Master the Fundamentals of Instructing (FOI), structured lesson plan design, and right-seat flight instructional technique under the direct mentorship of an experienced instructor in our factory-built Van’s RV-12iS.

Course Breakdown

  • Duration: 10 Days (Concierge / Accelerated)

  • Flight Training: 15 Hours

  • Ground Instruction: 30 Hours

Prerequisites & Attendance Requirements
  • Written Exams: Official passing scores on both the FAA Flight Instructor (FIA) and Fundamentals of Instructing (FOI) knowledge tests prior to Day 1.

  • Pilot Certificate: Current FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating.

  • Spin Endorsement: 14 CFR § 61.183(i)(1) spin training endorsement completed prior to arrival (or scheduled to execute concurrently on Day 1).

  • Medical: Valid FAA Medical Certificate (or BasicMed, depending on operational privileges sought).

Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII Add-On) — 5-Day Intensive 

Expand your professional instructional privileges to the instrument flight environment. Master right-seat instrument instructional scan technique, glass-panel architecture pedagogy, and Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) validation protocols in our factory-built Van’s RV-12iS (TAA).

  • Duration: 5 Days (Concierge / Accelerated) 

  • Flight Training: 10 Hours 

  • Ground Instruction: 15 Hours 

Prerequisites & Attendance Requirements

  • Written Exam: Official passing score on the FAA Flight Instructor Instrument (FII) Knowledge Test prior to Day 1.

  • Pilot Certificate: Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate.

  • Medical: Valid FAA Medical Certificate or BasicMed validation.
