I’m a Master-level minded flight instructor based in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, dedicated to helping the next generation of aviators reach their goals safely, efficiently, and with confidence.

 

My Aviation Journey.

My path in aviation began on the deck of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69), where I served as a U.S. Navy Aerographer’s Mate specializing in meteorology and oceanography. Understanding weather from the inside out laid a permanent foundation for my discipline and respect for the skies.

 

After a successful first career in medical equipment sales—where precise execution and high standards were daily requirements—I decided to turn my lifelong passion for flying into my full-time mission. I earned my Private Pilot License at age 53 and rapidly advanced, earning my CFII and Multiengine ratings in 2023. I built my ATP minimums working on the line as an active CFI, which earned me a pilot offer at SkyWest Airlines. While my true calling proved to be primary and advanced instruction right here on the ground, reaching that operational benchmark reinforced the exact standard I pass along to my students every day.
